Mind, Body, Food & YOU...Your relationship with food is not about the food!

Who loves dieting?

 Not me, that’s for sure.

Who has a fabulous wonderful relationship with their body & food?

Well, that is always a work in progress for me…but never-the-less I’m working on it.

Who is tired of the constant roller coaster of emotions around food, exercise & weight?

 YUP! That’s a “me too” also…

I really dislike the weight loss campaign aimed at getting you fit & healthy.

The truth is – IT’S NOT ABOUT THE WEIGHT!

I’m not sure if you knew that, but, you are an intelligent woman, so I’m guessing you at least had some inkling deep in there.

Sure, how much excess fat your body is holding onto is a concern for your physical health & wellbeing. But if losing weight & achieving a particular number on the scales was actually your true desire, then you would have been able to achieve it & maintain it.

The trouble with the weight loss campaign is that it focuses on:

  •  “Just eat this & feel better.” OR
  • “Don’t eat that & stop feeling bad.”  If it were that simple you would have done it by now 100 times over & it would no longer be an issue for you.

The truth is…food is not the problem.

How much you weigh is not even the problem.

The problem is attached to how you feel about the food you are eating & the reasons why you are eating this food.

Somewhere inside your subconscious mind, there is a belief that the food you are craving is of benefit to you. It gives you something you need in that moment.

On a subconscious level it is connecting you with a feeling, a memory or a person that you are craving to be closer to in that moment.

You are either wanting to move closer to something that makes you feel good, or you are trying to stuff down those uncomfortable feelings that make you feel bad.

Either way, it is never about the food.

I had a gnarly chocolate addiction that just ruled my life for as long as I could remember.

I would work my day out around ensuring I could eat chocolate at least once a day to get my hit.

People around me couldn’t understand how “I just HAD to have it!” & I would go out of my way to make sure I got it.

It has been a long & winding road. “Just don’t eat it” never work for me. Resistance made the need grow stronger.

So, I began peeling back the layers of my relationship with sugar & chocolate.

All the memories of being given chocolate & sugar at times when I was seeking validation, connection & comfort.

  • It was always at parties & gatherings where friends & family were around & I was having fun.
  • It was something I was given as a reward for being good.
  • It was a treat to make me feel special.

And so many other deeply subconscious attachments to the act of eating sugar & chocolate.

Hence, the MIND, BODY, FOOD & YOU self-hypnosis audio series is a journey that takes you into the subconscious realms of your mind to uncover & discover your underlying attachments to the food you can’t say no to.

The end goal is not to lose weight.

  • The end goal is to have a healthy relationship with food.
  • To be able to make yourself feel good without the need to eat food.
  • To have the power to choose what you eat, when you eat, how much you eat & when you stop eating.

And as you allow this to be the driving force behind your relationship with food you will find that naturally you will easily & effortlessly release any excess fat that is no longer required & your perception of your body image will naturally begin to shift & change also.
