Being a career woman and a mama can be a challenging but rewarding experience. It can be tough to manage both roles, but with a little bit of organization and a lot of humour, anything is possible!

 

As a working mama, I’ve learned that flexibility is key. For example, I can plan out my day or my week regarding what needs to be achieved on the home front & how I am going to allocate time to my business - but the truth is some days just don't roll that way.

 

To survive I just gotta have the flexibility to ride the wave that comes my way as a mama & a career woman.

 

Sometimes, it can be difficult to balance the demands of being a mama & a career woman.

I’ve had to learn to take things one day at a time, stay organised, but allow for the flexibility of things needing to change at a moment’s notice.

 

One of my key survival strategies that has truly helped me to let go of the daily struggle, so I can thrive as both a woman & a mama is making time for myself, whether it’s an early morning self-hypnosis audio session to start the day in a calm & peaceful way, a long walk on the weekend or a good catch-up with a girl-friend.

 

To give back to myself in meaningful ways really helps to nourish my body, mind & soul so that I can keep-on-keeping-on.

 

Another key tool I use is to embrace the chaos that is #mamalife. Embracing the chaos is a great way to let yourself relax into the flow of the moment & to be able to find humour in the things that used to stress me out.

 

After all, there are plenty of funny moments that come with being a working mama.

 

For example, there’s the time my son's friend walked behind me in a video conference call & farted. Or the time I tried to finish a project while dealing with my kids having a meltdown.

Being a career woman & a mama can be a juggling act, but it’s also an incredibly rewarding experience.

 

With a little bit of humour and a lot of patience, it’s possible to make it work.

 

Give yourself permission to release the strong hold of control so that you can relax into flow & flexibility & everything in your life will begin to feel soooo much easier & you will find yourself enjoying your #mamalife so much more.
